At The Classical Academy we seek to create "Thinkers, Communicators, and Achievers", Kindergarten through 8th grade.
The school is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and our students continually out perform other area schools due to the fact that they work so closely with their parents and are supervised by a credential teacher.
Our mission is to inspire students, empower parents, and promote a life-long love for learning by creating an environment where academic success is personalized and achievable for all children. Parents, working with credentialed teachers, prepare, monitor, and implement programs that enrich, challenge, and inspire students to embrace personalized academic success.

Dear Classical Academy Families:
With the launch of the 2008/2009 school year comes growth, development, and opportunity. This will be a great year as we celebrate 10 years as a charter school and a decade of success.
Edward Park has accepted a new position as a principal in the San Diego Unified School District at a magnet school whose emphasis is in Asian language education (his passion) and we wish him success in his new position.

Please find the attached C'Lectives Catalog for your review. Your individual student preference forms are due to the school office no later than Friday, May 30, 2008. If you have questions or require additional information please feel free to contact your Educational Specialist or the school office staff at 760-546-0101.

2008-2009 Re-Enrollment Information
2008-2009 Re-enrollment forms will be distributed on February 4-5, 2008.
Sibling applications will be available in the office on these same days for your convenience. ALL RE-ENROLLMENT FORMS AND SIBLING APPLICATIONS are DUE FEBRUARY 15, 2008.
NEW FAMILY OPEN HOUSE is scheduled for Thursday, February 21 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. NOW is the time to invite your family and friends to join our dynamic school program.

Many thanks to everyone that has made the Classical Academy a great success! For the past two years we have planned, created, and hosted gala celebrations to benefit the organization. These extra dollars have helped sustain us and we have been grateful for the communities outpouring of support. As we look to the 2007/2008 school year, we will suspend the gala, and launch a new I.N.V.E.S.T. program that allows individuals, businesses, and corporations to partner with us in offering a superior, high quality, educational option to parents. We understand that our success depends on the partnerships we can create with these entities to help support our organization. We cannot do it alone!
Classical Academy Named as one of 39 California Certified Charter Schools
We are proud to share with you that Classical Academy is now a CERTIFIED CHARTER SCHOOL! As the California Charter School Associations publicly launched the Certified Charter Schools Program this May, Classical Academy is among the first 39 schools in the state recognized with this honor and acknowledged as a model of excellence among all other public schools. In addition to sharing this wonderful news, we want to personally thank you for your integral part in helping us achieve this level of distinction. This program is the first of its kind in the nation, and we are proud to be setting that example!
