The Classical Academy plans field trips several times each year for students and their families to attend. These field trips align with classroom learning in history or science. Some field trips are held at a local park and provide hands-on activities for families to enjoy. Field trip opportunities might include the opera, ballet, a visit to a museum, the zoo, or another educational excursion. All school field trips are designed to be family-friendly, meaning the entire family is welcome to attend unless otherwise stated. Parents are responsible for their children at all school field trips and events. Students in grades 4-8 have the opportunity to take educational and enriching overnight class trips, including Sacramento/San Francisco, Pathfinders Camp, Astrocamp, Catalina Island, and the East Coast.
The Classical Academy annually hosts Super STEM Saturday, a science event that encourages students to get hands on and learn about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. This year’s STEM event will be held in March at California State University San Marcos.
