Last week, the Assembly Education Committee Chairman Patrick O’Donnell presented AB1316 to the legislature. The bill, which will severely impact charter public schools, passed out of the committee on a vote of 5 to 2. The bill will now head to the appropriations committee for another discussion and vote.
