JumpStart Keynote Speaker Featured on CBS
The Classical Academies is hosting the 10th Annual JumpStart Parent Education Conference featuring keynote speaker, Dr. Jean M. Twenge, Professor of Psychology at San Diego State University. She is the author of more than 130 scientific publications and six books, including iGen: Why Today’s Super-Connected Kids Are Growing Up Less Rebellious, More Tolerant, Less Happy–and Completely Unprepared for Adulthood, Generation Me, and The Narcissism Epidemic. Her research has been covered in Time, Newsweek, The New York Times, USA Today, U.S. News and World Report, and The Washington Post, and she has been featured on Today, Good Morning America, Fox and Friends, NBC Nightly News, Dateline NBC, and National Public Radio. She recently spoke on CBS addressing “Social Media, The Scourge of Adolescence.” Dr. Twenge holds a BA and MA from the University of Chicago and a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. She lives in San Diego with her husband and three daughters.
