It is a core belief at The Classical Academies that every partnership starts with trust, builds on collaboration, and culminates with accountability. The cornerstone of The Classical Academy program is the partnership parents and teachers share. Teachers, working with parents, create individual learning plans for students that can include technology, classroom learning, labs, electives, and independent study options to complete their assigned academic program. This partnership allows students to excel and thrive in a personalized learning environment to best meet student needs and aspirations.
As part of the parent partnership, we begin each year with a one-day professional, educational conference. The JumpStart conference offers a keynote address, breakout sessions, and complimentary lunch. Breakout sessions provide valuable information targeting the needs of new and returning families and those taking on the educator role. For more information about JumpStart visit: https://classicalacademy.com/communityengagement/jumpstart-conference/
For support year-round, parents can subscribe to our Partnering with Parents Podcast. This podcast provides valuable content to parents of students in grades TK-12. The podcast library can be found here: https://classicalacademy.com/about/partnering-parents-podcast/
Another way we partner is through our Parent Volunteer Program. This connects parents’ skills, passions, and abilities to their school community. Parent volunteers are highly valued as their leadership and talents are an integral part of The Classical Academy’s success! The Classical Academy uses HelpCounter to manage volunteer needs.
