CAHS Students’ Robotics Team, RoboctoPI, Sets World Record!
CAHS seniors Lauren Chiang, Caleb Dela Cruz, Alexander Usher, and sophomores Seth Peace, Nicholas Usher, and Caleb Winter led their FIRST Tech Challenge robotics team, RoboctoPI, to a World Record-setting score at the San Diego League Championship Tournament. Their team’s score of 361 points is the highest total posted this season by over 6,200 active teams after more than 25,000 matches that have been played around the world. Team Roboctopi will be competing again at the San Diego FTC Regional Finals on March 26, 2022, at Francis Parker High School.
