Ninth grade student Kenna Chase was one of twenty San Diego women who was honored with a national award from the National Council for Women in Technology. Kenna has earned her Girl Scout bronze and silver awards for service to the community and currently learning multiple programming languages. She loves to tutor and mentor other girls in math, science, and technology. Kenna hopes to combine her love of programming and technology to become a computer scientist or engineer.
