Classical Academy Middle School (CAMS) is grateful to the Girard Foundation for its generous financial support. With a grant of over $35,000 this year, the donation supports the growing Summit Program by subsidizing a teacher’s aide, purchasing instructional materials, and by helping install collaborative student workstations and seating.In the Summit program, students attend school Tuesday - Thursday and complete independent study work at home on Mondays and Fridays. Four unique elements are highlighted in the Summit model: personalized learning time, project time, mentorship, and community time. Additionally, curriculum is delivered through a robust technology platform created by teachers in partnership with Facebook engineers.Thank you Girard Foundation!
