Students Place Third in International Robotics Competition
The invitation-only First Lego League Razorback Invitational Competition took place in late May, and the First Lego League Challenge Robotics Team MC^2 placed third in the international competition. They will now advance to the Southern California Regional competition. The team, which has several Classical Academy students, Bryce McCague, Eric McCague, Chloe Raya-Ortiz, and Jillian Smith, competed in Robot Performance, Core Values, and Project Innovation, where they developed a working model of a plastic bottle to 3D filament shredder as a solution to a problem within the Cargo Industry. Congratulations to MC^2 and their accomplishment!
