Coastal Academy, Classical Academy, and Classical Academy High School were awarded the Exceptional Charter School in Special Education by the National Association of Special Education Teachers (NASET). This is the second time they have received this prestigious award. Being selected as a NASET Exceptional Charter School in Special Education is the highest level of recognition a charter school can achieve. This honor is presented to charter schools that meet rigorous professional criteria and have demonstrated truly exceptional dedication, commitment, and achievement in the field of special education. All three schools will also be featured as a NASET Exceptional Charter School in Special Education on the NASET website.
