The California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) System consists of the following assessments: Smarter Balanced English language arts/literacy and mathematics (SBAC). California Alternate Assessments for English language arts, mathematics, and science (CAA) and California Science Tests (CAST).
