Tips for the Day


Carpooling or taking the Sprinter is highly encouraged due to limited parking. Parking is available in the lot located on the corner of Woodard Avenue and Escondido Blvd and also at Classical Academy High School.


Our conference will be held at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido (CCAE) and Classical Academy High School (CAHS). The Keynote opening session will take place in the CCAE Concert Hall. Please allow ample time to park, walk, and be seated in the Concert Hall. 


The CCAE does not allow beverages in the Concert Hall, except for bottled water with a secure lid. 

Event App

This year we are using the Whova event app. If you haven’t already downloaded the app, we encourage you to do so, as it offers many valuable resources. Download the app for free on the Apple AppStore and on Google Play for android. Once you’ve downloaded the app, sign in with the email you used to register, or search for the JumpStart Parent Conference event and enter the invitation code: JUMPSTART2019.  Follow us on instagram: @theclassicalacademies and share your favorite part of the day! Make sure to use the hash-tags: #TCAJumpStart and #Classicalacademies


Breakout Sessions are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Feel free to bring laptops and tablets to take notes or browse resources; wireless internet will be available throughout the day. Classrooms are climate controlled and can tend to get chilly, dress in layers as it will be warm outside. Depending on which breakout sessions you choose to attend, there may be a fair amount of walking throughout the day.


The Classical Academies will provide complimentary boxed lunches from Sprouts Farmers Market. Lunch options are selected upon event registration. Lunch includes a roast beef and cheddar sandwich, turkey and provolone sandwich, or green salad. Chips, bottled water, and dessert are included.  Due to the size of our group, custom orders or requests cannot be accommodated. Attendees are welcome to bring their own lunch as well. Lunch will be served in Grape Day Park. Feel free to bring a blanket if you would like to have lunch on the grass. You are also welcome to enjoy your lunch to CAHS, as they have ample shaded seating.


All attendees are invited to attend the INVEST Sponsor Expo! There will be thousands of dollars of prizes to give away!  Simply visit each vendor, collect a stamp, and drop off your Expo Card to be entered into a drawing. The drawing will be held at the closing Keynote Address and prizes will be available to take home that day. Many vendors are also giving away additional prizes.
