For the first time in program history, Coastal Academy High School has crowned its first CIF Division Girls Wrestling Champions. Sisters Alethia and Charis Tolentino claimed victory at Lincoln High in San Diego on Saturday, February 8th. Their win marks a historic achievement for the program, following in the footsteps of their brother, Giancarlo Tolentino, who won the CIF Division title last season.

With their victories, the Tolentino sisters advance to the Master’s Sectional Tournament at Christian High School in El Cajon on February 21-22. They aim to place in the top three to secure a spot at the CIF State Championship the following week. Charis is a two-time State Qualifier, and Alethia qualified as a freshman last season.
