CAHS Journalism Students Win Prestigious National Award

July 15, 2022

Classical Academy High School journalism students won the top award in the nation for their 2019 yearbook "Make Yourself". The Chronicle staff won the prestigious Pacemaker Award after a competition hosted by the National Scholastic Press Association (NSPA). The Pacemaker is the preeminent award for secondary school journalists and is often considered to be the Pulitzer Prize for high school students. The award is typically announced at the annual NSPA conference, however, due to quarantine measures, the award was announced via live streaming in late April. We are incredibly honored and proud of this talented group of journalists!
