As the school year drew to a close, 300 middle school students participated in an annual community service day. Students fanned out across the city of Escondido, engaging in various acts of service. They cleaned parks, helped organize a theater, donated to a local food bank, and visited residents in a retirement home. Their curious minds, generous hearts, and positive attitudes made a significant impact in the community.
