Last week the Girard Foundation awarded Classical Academy Online (CAO) an $114,500 grant.  The sponsorship will support CAO’s Summit Program expansion.  Part of the grant will help purchase additional furniture and technology needs for the program; the other part of the grant will underwrite an instructor to develop STEM career technical education courses in the areas of robotics, computer science, and programming. 

CAO Principal, Dr. Stacey Perez was accepted as a Summit Learning Fellow, the first Summit Learning site principal to train administrators and teachers across the country as they are accepted as new Summit Learning schools. She is a Summit Learning thought leader and is acting in a leadership capacity for implementation and scalability of the CAO Summit STEM courses to the national Summit Learning network.
