More than 300 7th and 8th-grade Classical Academy Middle School students recently participated in an annual community service project. The students actively served a variety of organizations, including the City of Escondido, Central Elementary School, Interfaith, 10X Academy, The Springs Senior Living Center, Emmanuel Faith, Classical Academy High School, and their campus. The initiative aimed to instill values of compassion, kindness, and helping others in need, leaving a lasting impact on the participants and the community. Classical Academy Middle School Vice Principal Tyler Powell saw a significant increase in student involvement, highlighting the students' growing enthusiasm. Mr. Powell commented, "This community service opportunity grows yearly," stated Powell. "It teaches students the power of compassion and kindness and is always a great way to end the school year!"
