A record number of high school seniors applied for the 2nd annual North County Education Foundation Character Scholarship. This year’s theme was Good Judgement and two finalists from each high school site were selected. Students submitted essays and participated in formal interviews with a panel of judges. Winners included Classical Academy High School Seniors, Brenna Farris and Carissa Anderson, and Coastal Academy High Senior, Jessica Pate. The winners will receive a $1,500 scholarship.
