Recent CAHS graduate, Maya Sorvala, received a perfect score on her AP® Drawing Exam in May 2021. This superior accomplishment falls into a select category. Maya not only received the top score but was also one of only 219 students in the world to earn every point possible on the AP Drawing Exam. "This outstanding accomplishment is likely a direct reflection of the top-quality education being offered at Classical Academy High School," stated Trevor Packer, Head of the Advanced Placement Program, "We applaud Maya's hard work and the AP teacher responsible for engaging students and enabling them to excel in a college-level course. Michael McGaugy, Maya's Art teacher stated, "Maya is a truly kind and creative person, an excellent student artist dedicated to her craft." Maya is currently attending the Vancouver Institute of Media Arts.
