In consultation with the Department of Health, The Classical Academies will be closed district-wide effective on Monday, March 16, 2020 through Friday, April 3, 2020. This organizational closure is followed by Spring Break, Monday, April 6, 2020 through Friday, April 10, 2020. Students, faculty, and support teams plan to be back in school on Monday, April 13, 2020.

This school closure will impact all sports, musical theater, and extracurricular activities, which will all be suspended or rescheduled.School closures come amidst growing concerns regarding contact with the COVID-19 Coronavirus. Campuses impacted include The Classical Academy (TK-8), Classical Academy Middle School (7-8), Classical Academy Vista (TK-8), Classical Academy High School (9-12), Coastal Academy (TK-8), and Coastal Academy High School (9-12).
