Classical Academy High School students attended a hands-on medical simulation and informational conference hosted by Sharp Reese Stealy Medical Group at the Sharp Prebys Innovation and Education Center. Emerge is a premier medical conference for teens, with hands-on simulations, faculty lectures, and a personable mentor-based approach to identify, inspire, and inform the emerging medical professionals of tomorrow. Emerge faculty consists of over 50 world-class, working doctors and nurses. Simulations included cardiac arrest, intubation, psychiatry, ophthalmology, labor delivery, neuroscience, laparoscopic surgery, transvenous placing, suturing, and more. Classical Personalized Learning students who participated in the summer program included Elliot Marshall, Riley Ward, Bryce McCague, Ryan Ward, Chloe Ortiz-Raya, and Justin Tasi.
