The Escondido Legends Scholarship Program, administered by The Classical Academies North County Education Foundation (NCEF), announced nine Escondido students who received a $1,000 scholarship in honor of local Escondido Legends.
The recipients from 5 Escondido High Schools were presented with scholarships and recognized for their accomplishments by the Escondido City Council on June 19th. Over forty Escondido students submitted essays that captured their commitment to the City of Escondido and aligned with the selected Escondido Legends. Thank you to Mr. Jack Raymond and an anonymous donor for their generous contributions that made these scholarships possible. Photo from left to right:
