Coastal Academy High School (CAH) Junior Caitlin Simmers won the third stop on the World Surf League (WSL) at the MEO Rip Curl Pro Portugal contest. The WSL surf contest Championship Title consists of 10 contests and finals in 8 countries, including Australia, El Salvador, Tahiti, Brazil, and South Africa. Caitlin is currently tied for second place worldwide and is one of the youngest surfers to win the US Open of Surfing. The WSL contest will finish up the first week of April.
